About Marinsys-Aero UHF system

Marinsys- UHF Integrated system

Military aircraft also use a dedicated UHF-AM band from 225.0–399.95 MHz for air-to-air and air-to-ground, including air traffic control communication. This band has a designated emergency and guard channel of 243.0 MHz.

The Marinsys System in standard configuration consists of Voice operator workstation with Unicom software model AVIS and 225 ÷ 400 MHz air band transceivers, connected to System by Radio Gateway module model SRG-1123, using IP Network.

AVIS can manage up to 4 simultaneous communications in standard configuration and up to 8 upon request.

The System can be extended with recording & playback unit and radio server with dedicated software.

According to customer’s requirements there is possible include in System optional units of PSTN Gateway and Network Monitoring system.

All System units can be supplied in redundant configuration.

Standard system configuration are:

  • Voice operator workstation with Unicom software model AVIS
  • Air band transceiver, 225-400 MHz, 15W in AM & 40W in FM model MSA-2096
  • Radio Gateway module model SRG-1123 for connection MSA-2096 to IP Network
System with recording & playback unit are:
  • Voice operator workstation with Unicom software model AVIS
  • UHF air band transceiver, 225-400 MHz, 15W in AM & 40W in FM model MSA-2096
  • Radio Gateway module model SRG-1123 for connection MSA-2096 to IP Network
  • Recording & Playback server with special software
  • Radio server with special software

UHF AM Air Band Transceiver model: MSA-2096

MSA-2096 is a transceiver for land-board-land communications in the range of frequencies 225 ÷ 400 MHz .
MSA-2096 has been designed and realized using only electronic components in solid state and elaborated criterions of modularity.
Adopting a technology based on microprocessor, the use of the transceiver (user-friendly approach) becomes extremely simple and its control is furnished of a self-diagnosis system on its operating conditions (Built In Test Equipment - BITE).

A modern, compact design and compatibility with standard handsets this unit will provide you the flexibility you need at a price you can afford.

Voice operator workstation model Avis with Unicom software

The operator interacts with the terminal through a touch screen monitor, in addition to the standard mouse and keyboard

The user will also have available, as standard equipment with the terminal, a pair of earphones (with microphone and PTT button),

and integrated speakers

Every operator can interact with the system through specific interfaces, with which it is possible to configure the parameters of the radio

resources available.

The operator can also verify the status of other operators in the network, can make full duplex calls to other terminals or PSTN lines,

and can communicate through text messages.

The main functions of the User Terminal are:

● Telephone communications;

● Access to the remote radio devices in half duplex mode with transmission enabled by the PTT on the CovisTerminal

● Visualization of the parameters of the radio resource in use (radio type, frequency, channel, status and so on);

● Control of the radio resource in use with the possibility to change channel, frequency and other working parameters;

● Ability to control and manage up to four simultaneous communications;

● Simultaneous reception on several different channels;

● Possibility to send the audio to several conversations at the same time;

● BITE function;

● Possibility to assign and configure audio communication to any output device such as earphones, speakers, and so on.
