Warranty

The following warranty provisions shall apply for delivery of new equipment and spare parts from MARCOM INTEGRALES DE SISTEMAS, S.L.

Marcom Complete equipment:

Delivered equipment is covered by a 12 months standard warranty on equipment from the date the equipment has
been installed by an Marcom or authorized Marcom partner, or 18 months from invoicing, whichever comes first.
If Marcom may decide to address a warranty repair by supplying another complete equipment (Exchange)
a guarantee of maximum 12 months after installation of the defective equipment will apply.

Non-Marcom equipment:

Equipment in Marcom's product list is as standard covered by the 12 months warranty
on equipment from the date the equipment has been delivered to an Customer.
If Marcom may decide to address a warranty repair by supplying another complete equipment (Exchange)
a guarantee of maximum 12 months after invoicing of the defective equipment will apply.
Non- Marcom Products delivered, but not part of Marcoms product list is covered by
manufactures warranty, which may differ from Marcoms warranty terms.

Spare parts

All supplied Marcom spare parts are granted a 6 Months warranty on the delivered parts counting from
invoicing from Marcom. Warranty for non-Marcom spare parts is covered in accordance with
Manufactures Warranty terms - if any.

Special conditions:

The following are not covered by the warranty:
  • Normal wear, which cannot be related to defects in the product.
  • Wrong usage of the equipment.
  • Damage caused by transport or improper storage.
  • Abnormally high or low supply voltage, beyond equipment specifications.
  • Service or installation carried out by unauthorized persons.
  • Conditions which are outside Marcom control, such as (lightning, water damage, fire, etc.)
  • Connection of other equipment that does not comply with the specified standards for connection of  MARCOM INTEGRALES DE SISTEMAS, S.L. supplied equipment.

Forwarded replacement parts under warranty, will be invoiced at list price at time of shipment.

The Customer or Dealer pay shipping costs by shipping defective goods to Marcom and Marcom covering the return costs to the same destination from where it has been received or Dealers warehouse.

Defective and unused parts must be registered in our RMA system and returned to the Marcom no later than 30 days after the service has been completed enclosed a detailed error report.

When the returned parts are received and examined, a credit note will be issued.

Installation / Commissioning.

An authorized Marcom Service technician must perform the installation and the commissioning. The Warranty registration card must be completed and signed by a representative of the owner.

Alternatively, the equipment must be registered on our website (www.marcomsl.com).

Coverage.

The following are not covered by Marcom Warranty:

  • Travel cost and travel time

  • Freight

  • Custom Clearance

  • Custom, VAT, licenses, etc.

  • Stocking costs

  • Insurances

  • Packing, in addition to the standard package for the device

  • Instruction in use of the equipment

  • Crane assistance

  • Routine Maintenance, annual survey

 Fault on supplied equipment.

 Any failure on equipment supplied shall, without any delay be reported in writing to the Marcom, with the identification of the faulty equipment as well as a complete failure report and the original invoice number.

 Marcom will take the necessary steps to rectify the failure. If the equipment under warranty are sent to Marcom and no failures are found when checked in our workshop, a fee for the examination will be charged.

Transfer of Warranty.

 The warranty for the supplied equipment is transferred to the end user when the device is registered with Marcom.

 Liability.

Marcom's warranty obligations may not exceed the amount invoiced for the equipment.
